The IT Support Technician will be responsible for ensuring the health and efficiency of IT systems within the organization. This role involves providing technical assistance to staff, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and maintaining network configurations. Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of IT support procedures.
• Optionally perform backups and data recovery processes.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency.
• Engage with vendors for support and equipment procurement.
• Prepare reports on system performance and user support metrics.
• Participate in IT projects as needed.

Requirements

Education

• National Diploma in IT or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science is a plus

Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in an IT support role is preferred
