Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team in Port Elizabeth. You will be responsible for developing and implementing security protocols, monitoring networks for breaches, and responding to incidents to ensure the protection of our information systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead security projects and initiatives to improve our cybersecurity posture.
• Manage firewalls, antivirus, and other security tools.
• Ensure data privacy and security regulations are followed.
• Engage in continuous learning to keep up with the evolving cybersecurity landscape.
• Develop and perform security training for employees.
• Report on security status and problems to management.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field
• Relevant certifications are highly preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles
