Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to manage and lead our projects in Port Elizabeth. You will ensure compliance with safety regulations, conduct site inspections, and prepare technical reports. As part of our innovative team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the infrastructure of our communities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of engineering projects.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met.
• Review project plans and specifications for completeness and accuracy.
• Manage project timelines and adjust schedules as needed.
• Ensure safety and compliance in all engineering activities.
• Prepare documentation for project bids and contract negotiations.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Engage in community outreach activities related to projects.
• Evaluate and select appropriate construction materials and techniques.
• Maintain communication with all project stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in civil engineering, including infrastructure projects

• Civil 3D
• Environmental Engineering

• Leadership

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
