Job Description

The Electrical Power-Line Installer and Repairer, also known as a cableman, plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective installation and maintenance of electrical systems across various industries. You will be responsible for working with electrical wires and cables, which are essential for maintaining power lines and connectivity.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the calender machine to produce high-quality textile products according to specifications.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
• Document machine operations and maintenance activities.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to all safety protocols.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 12 Certificate
• Relevant Technical Qualification

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role

Technical Skills

• Machine Operating Software
• Hand Tools

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Good Communication Skills

Advantageous

• Experience with machinery maintenance: Hands-on experience in performing regular maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
• Experience in the manufacturing industry: Prior work experience in any manufacturing environment is advantageous.
• Technical qualifications in engineering or manufacturing: Additional technical qualifications will be considered a plus.
