Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients’ physical mobility and strength.
• Create tailored rehabilitation plans for diverse patient populations.
• Work with patients to guide them through exercises and therapy techniques.
• Engage in continuous professional development and skill enhancement.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
• Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment.
• Advocate for patient needs and assist in referrals to specialists.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy
• Master's degree in Physiotherapy is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in physiotherapy practice

Technical Skills

• Sports injury rehabilitation
• Kinesiology

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Registered Physiotherapist
• CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Experience in sports physiotherapy: Knowledge and hands-on experience in sports injury treatments.
• Familiarity with therapeutic equipment: Experience using a variety of physiotherapy tools and equipment.
