Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. The successful candidate will be involved in designing, developing, and overseeing the installation of electrical systems and equipment. A strong understanding of electrical codes and standards is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for various applications.
• Prepare and manage project documentation.
• Conduct site visits to assess electrical installations.
• Coordinate with contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure quality standards are met in all projects.
• Provide mentorship to graduate engineers.
• Assist in budget preparation and resource allocation.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies for projects.
• Prepare proposals and technical reports.
• Ensure adherence to environmental and safety regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) certification is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical design and implementation
