Cybersecurity Risk Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Risk Analyst to join our growing team in Sandton. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in risk management and will be responsible for identifying vulnerabilities in our systems, ensuring our infrastructure remains secure in an ever-changing digital landscape.

Responsibilities

• Lead security audits and assessments to evaluate effectiveness of cybersecurity measures.
• Analyze security breaches and incidents to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in developing disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and other agencies in case of security incidents if necessary.
• Monitor and review security incidents to ensure timely escalation and resolution.
• Document and maintain risk assessment processes and findings for internal audits.
• Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of security initiatives.
• Stay informed of new security technologies and evaluate their potential benefits for the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
• Relevant certifications in cybersecurity are preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years in cybersecurity risk analysis or related roles
