Jewelry Facer

Job Description

As a Jewelry Facer, you will be responsible for the precision cutting and shaping of precious metals and gemstones to produce high-quality jewelry pieces. You will collaborate with a team of designers and craftsmen to create unique and stunning pieces that meet the expectations of our discerning customers.

Responsibilities

• Perform precision cutting and shaping of metals and gemstones according to design specifications.
• Utilize CAD/CAM software for modeling and design adjustments.
• Conduct quality control checks on raw materials and finished products.
• Assist in the training of junior artisans in best practices for jewelry faceting.
• Document all production processes and maintain records of materials used.
• Participate in ongoing skill development through workshops and seminars.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Jewelry Design or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in jewelry manufacturing or faceting.

Technical Skills

• Advanced CAD software proficiency
• Quality assurance skills

Soft Skills

• Creativity
• Effective communication

Advantageous

• Experience in jewelry retail: Direct experience with luxury jewelry clients.
