Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Community Pharmacist to enhance our dedicated team in Port Elizabeth. Your role will involve advising patients on medications, providing health screenings, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure patient wellbeing. You will play a crucial role in our community by promoting medication adherence and wellness.

Responsibilities

• Counsel patients on preventative care and medication management.
• Oversee the preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Conduct medication therapy management and patient education.
• Collaborate with inter-professional teams to improve patient care.
• Manage pharmacy finances and budget adherence.
• Engage in ongoing education to stay current with pharmaceuticals.
• Respond to patient inquiries and resolve medication-related issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy
• Master's degree in Pharmacy is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a pharmacist

Technical Skills

• Clinical Pharmacology

Certifications

• GPP (Good Pharmacy Practice)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic
