Job Description

As a Park Interpretive Ranger, you will lead guided tours, educate visitors on the park's flora and fauna, and ensure a safe environment for all. You'll be the face of our conservation efforts, making the beauty of nature accessible to everyone.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct enriching guided walks and interpretive talks within the park.
  • Monitor the health of park trails and report maintenance needs.
  • Organize and facilitate special events that promote conservation awareness.
  • Engage with visitors to foster an appreciation for wildlife and natural habitats.
  • Document and report on visitor feedback and experiences for ongoing improvements.
  • Work with local schools to develop educational programs tailored to youth.
  • Support research initiatives aimed at enhancing conservation strategies.
  • Participate in community outreach to raise awareness of park activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Collaborate with volunteers to execute conservation activities effectively.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or related field
  • Certification in Environmental Education is a plus
Experience
  • Previous experience in guiding nature tours is advantageous
