We are seeking a skilled Tax Consultant to join our Durban team. This role involves assisting clients in understanding and managing their tax obligations. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in tax regulations and excellent problem-solving skills, ensuring compliance while identifying potential tax saving opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in tax planning and compliance activities.
• Prepare and review tax returns and filings.
• Analyze tax implications of business transactions.
• Advise clients on business structuring for optimal tax efficiency.
• Provide exceptional service to clients through proactive communication.
• Keep up-to-date with legislative changes in tax laws.
• Create comprehensive documentation of tax planning strategies.
• Foster relationships with tax authorities and stakeholders.
• Implement changes to policies based on best practices and regulatory changes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• Additional qualifications (e.g., CTA) preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a tax consulting role
