Job Description

We are on the lookout for a meticulous Software Tester to join our Port Elizabeth team. You will be responsible for performing automated and manual tests to ensure the software meets quality standards and user expectations.

Responsibilities

• Automate repetitive testing tasks using appropriate tools
• Train and mentor junior testers in testing practices
• Maintain testing processes and methodologies
• Evaluate and enhance testing tools and frameworks used
• Assist in continuous improvement of software testing practices

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent
• Postgraduate qualification is advantageous

Experience

• 4+ years of software testing experience

Technical Skills

• API Testing
• Load Testing Tools

Soft Skills

• Teamwork
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Software Tester (CSTE)
• Agile Testing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in performance testing: Hands-on experience with various performance testing tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices: Experience with continuous integration and delivery methodologies.
