Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Psychologist to design, develop, and implement assessment strategies that evaluate students' performance and organizational needs. You will work closely with educators and stakeholders to ensure that our assessment processes lead to meaningful improvements in student outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Develop assessment methodologies and frameworks that meet the needs of diverse student populations.
  • Lead training sessions for educators on effective assessment practices.
  • Supervise the implementation of assessment tools across various educational settings.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of assessment strategies and recommend improvements.
  • Facilitate workshops and collaborative sessions with educators to enhance assessment literacy.
  • Document and report on the outcomes of assessment initiatives, highlighting successes and areas for growth.
  • Engage with external stakeholders to promote assessment initiatives and gather feedback.
  • Ensure that all assessment activities adhere to best practices and are ethically conducted.
  • Mentor junior staff members involved in assessment tasks.
  • Continuously review and refine assessment processes to ensure relevance and effectiveness.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Psychology or Education
  • Postgraduate qualification in Assessment or Psychometrics is preferred
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience conducting assessments in educational settings
Technical Skills
  • Experience with assessment frameworks
  • Data Privacy Regulations Knowledge

Certifications
  • Certification in Psychological Assessment
  • Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g., PPSC)
