Join our dynamic team in Port Elizabeth as a Tax Specialist. We’re looking for a professional with a strong background in taxation who can assist our clients in optimizing their tax situations. Your role will include preparing tax returns, offering tax compliance guidance, and ensuring our clients' financial practices adhere to current tax laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive tax returns for multiple clients.
• Advise clients on tax credits and deductions applicable to their situations.
• Assist in tax audits and liaise with tax authorities on behalf of clients.
• Stay updated on relevant tax regulations and changes.
• Develop tax planning strategies to optimize client outcomes.
• Mentor junior staff on best practices in tax preparation.
• Maintain accurate and organized tax documents and records.
• Review and analyze financial information to provide tax recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with local and international tax laws.
• Participate in tax planning initiatives for individual and business clients.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Honours degree or further certifications in taxation are advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Tax Specialist or similar role
