Job Description

We're on the lookout for a creative Fashion Designer to join our innovative team in Johannesburg. In this role, you will conceptualize and create unique garments, ensuring they are stylish and commercially viable. You'll work closely with our marketing and production teams to bring your ideas to life.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative designs that cater to various customer demographics.
• Collaborate with marketing for successful product launches.
• Analyze customer feedback and sales data to refine future designs.
• Oversee fabric selection and pattern making for new collections.
• Create detailed specifications for each garment including measurements and construction details.
• Lead fittings and ensure corrections are applied as necessary.
• Assist in training junior designers and interns.
• Cultivate relationships with fabric suppliers and manufacturers.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or related field
• Master’s degree in Fashion Design is an added advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in high fashion design
