Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Environmental Consultant to join our Cape Town team. Your responsibilities will include conducting environmental assessments, advising clients on sustainability practices, and developing reports to support compliance with environmental regulations. We are looking for someone with a proactive approach and passion for protecting the environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams in environmental assessments and mitigation planning.
• Develop comprehensive strategies for reducing carbon footprints.
• Facilitate workshops and training on environmental compliance.
• Prepare grant applications for funding environmental projects.
• Engage in community outreach to promote environmental awareness.
• Monitor environmental performance and report on progress.
• Collaborate with scientific researchers to advance environmental knowledge.
• Advise clients on renewable energy solutions and sustainability options.
• Assist with crisis management and environmental incident response.
• Implement data collection and analysis to inform environmental strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in environmental consulting or compliance roles
