Job Description

The Draw Fire Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the draw fire machine, ensuring efficient operation and smooth production processes. Ideal candidates should possess a solid background in machine operation and quality assurance.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transfer materials using cranes and hoists.
• Inspect and maintain equipment, replacing or repairing faulty components.
• Adjust and maintain burner controls and combustion systems.
• Complete production reports and maintenance logs accurately.
• Collaborate with supervisors to optimize operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards.
• Train new employees on safe operational procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities.

Requirements

Education

• Matric/Grade 12 certificate
• Relevant technical qualification in manufacturing is preferred

Experience

• 2+ years of experience operating draw fire machinery.
