SOC Analyst

Job Description

We are seeking a SOC Analyst with a strong background in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in protecting our organization's assets and data by analyzing security events and implementing incident response strategies.

Responsibilities

• Analyze alerts generated by security systems and escalate issues as necessary.
• Maintain and improve incident response documentation.
• Collaborate on cybersecurity projects and security assessments.
• Investigate malware incidents and conduct forensic analysis.
• Assist in threat intelligence gathering and analysis.
• Work with vendors to manage security tool enhancements.
• Conduct root cause analysis for security incidents.
• Deliver presentations on security findings to stakeholders.
• Create dashboards to visualize security metrics.
• Support regulatory compliance efforts related to data protection.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in a security operations center or related field
