Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team in Durban. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing outreach programs to engage with the community and enhance local participation in our initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for social work and community upliftment, alongside excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate volunteer programs and training sessions for community engagement.
• Evaluate the impact of outreach initiatives on community welfare.
• Act as a liaison between the organization and community members.
• Develop promotional materials to inform the community about ongoing programs.
• Maintain a database of community contacts and partnership opportunities.
• Attend community meetings and events to represent the organization.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or related field

Experience

• 2+ years in community outreach or development roles
