Job Description

As a Bookkeeper, you’ll oversee the accounting functions for our clients, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activities. We value detail-oriented individuals who are committed to delivering exceptional service and support to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements and support schedules as needed.
  • Administer bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Conduct regular financial audits and implement recommendations.
  • Establish effective systems for tracking financial transactions.
  • Assist with the development of financial policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the implementation of new accounting software when necessary.

Requirements

Education
  • Accounting Certification (SAIPA or equivalent)
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role

Languages
  • English: Fluent

Advantageous

  • Knowledge of VAT regulations: Understanding of VAT regulations and compliance.
