Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to join our vibrant healthcare team in Cape Town. In this role, you will deliver high-quality health care services to patients, focusing on preventative care and chronic disease management. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and possess excellent communication skills, enabling them to engage effectively with patients and their families.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality primary and preventative healthcare services.
  • Assess and treat minor injuries and illnesses.
  • Coordinate patient care with specialists and other healthcare providers.
  • Implement quality improvement initiatives in clinical practice.
  • Advocate for patients in a healthcare setting.
  • Document care provided according to legal and ethical standards.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior nursing staff.
  • Engage in health promotion activities within the community.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Nursing or a related health field
  • Additional certifications in specialized nursing areas are an advantage.
Experience
  • 3-5 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting
