Job Description

We are in search of a diligent Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team at our Johannesburg property. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and service within the establishment. This role also involves training new staff, scheduling shifts, and overseeing the overall housekeeping operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the housekeeping team in delivering outstanding cleanliness.
  • Ensure rooms are cleaned efficiently and to expected standards.
  • Manage the supply inventory for cleaning products and equipment.
  • Train staff in proper cleaning techniques and safety protocols.
  • Conduct regular audits of housekeeping operations.
  • Respond proactively to any issues raised by guests or management.
  • Maintain open communication with front desk and maintenance teams.
  • Promote a culture of respect and support among the housekeeping team.

Requirements

Education
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Diploma in Hospitality or related field is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years in a supervisory role within housekeeping
