Shoe Machine Operator and Tender

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Shoe Machine Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating shoe machinery and a keen eye for detail to ensure quality production standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Set up and adjust machinery according to product specifications.
• Conduct regular checks to ensure machinery is functioning optimally.
• Assist in training new personnel on machine operation and safety.
• Document production metrics and report to supervisors.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the production team.
• Adhere to all quality control processes during production.
• Support maintenance teams in ensuring machinery is well-maintained.
• Maintain compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
• Assist in the packing of finished products for distribution.
• Identify areas for process improvement and share feedback.

Requirements

Education

• Matric certificate or equivalent
• Relevant technical qualification preferred

Experience

• Prior experience in shoe manufacturing is preferred

• Experience with electrical component assembly: Knowledge of integrating electrical components into footwear.
