Job Description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Structural Engineer to lead our engineering initiatives in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for designing structures, performing structural analysis, and preparing technical drawings. You will need to effectively communicate with clients and stakeholders to ensure that all specifications are met. Responsibilities

  • Conduct structural integrity assessments and inspections.
  • Utilize CAD software to create structural drawings.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and quality standards.
  • Develop project timelines and manage engineering tasks accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with project managers and team members.
  • Review and resolve technical issues that arise during construction.
  • Prepare and submit engineering proposals for new projects.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years in structural design and engineering
