Job Description

We are on the lookout for an IT Support Technician to join our dedicated team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of IT systems and support, be proactive in problem-solving, and have excellent communication skills. You will provide first-line support to our clients, ensuring their IT infrastructure runs smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day IT support tasks and user inquiries.
  • Provide remote support to clients as required.
  • Document and manage support tickets using a helpdesk system.
  • Participate in training sessions for new technologies.
  • Work with vendors for hardware repairs and support.
  • Support software deployments and updates.
  • Contribute to improving customer satisfaction through effective support.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma or degree in Computer Science or relevant field
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical support role
