Job Description

We are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Durban team. The successful candidate will be pivotal in identifying vulnerabilities and protecting our systems from potential threats. You will work with advanced security tools to monitor and respond to cyber incidents.

Responsibilities

• Identify and assess potential security risks to networks and data.
• Monitor security alerts and respond to incidents with urgency.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
• Develop and implement effective security strategies.
• Generate reports on security incidents and suggest improvements.
• Collaborate with IT teams for security policy enforcement.
• Assist in training staff on security best practices.
• Staying updated on the latest cybersecurity trends and threats.
• Evaluate new security technologies for possible implementation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like Information Security
• Other pertinent certifications will be an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years in cybersecurity or IT security roles is preferred
