Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat oral health issues and conditions.
• Perform restorative procedures such as fillings and crowns.
• Conduct routine cleanings and preventative care services.
• Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dental office.
• Monitor and track patient progress after treatment.
• Communicate clearly with patients regarding procedures and options.
• Encourage patients to adhere to recommended treatment plans.
• Maintain a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the clinic.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor of Dentistry or equivalent qualification
• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a dental practice

Technical Skills

• Excellent manual dexterity
• Knowledge of dental procedures

Soft Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Empathy and compassion

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification
• HPCSA Registration

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Proficient

Advantageous

• Experience in cosmetic dentistry: Having a background in performing cosmetic dental procedures, such as veneers and teeth whitening.
• Familiarity with dental software: Proficient in using dental management software for patient records and scheduling.
