We are seeking a dedicated Neonatal Nurse to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will provide specialized care to premature and critically ill newborns, ensuring their well-being and supporting their families during this critical time.
Responsibilities
Deliver patient-centered care while maintaining safety protocols.
Administer treatments and manage IV lines for infants.
Perform physical assessments and evaluate newborn conditions.
Communicate effectively with families regarding patient status.
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress.
Document all nursing interventions in electronic records accurately.
Engage in mentorship and support of junior nursing staff.
Contribute to research initiatives focusing on neonatal health care.
Lead training sessions on neonatal care for new staff.
Ensure the NICU environment is conducive to positive outcomes for infants.

Education
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Registered Nurse (RN) qualification
Experience
2+ years of experience in neonatal care
