Job Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to enhance our team in Port Elizabeth. The ideal candidate has a solid grasp of cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools. Your role will involve collaborating with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployments and service reliability. You'll help to bridge the gap between development and operations, enabling faster delivery of high-quality software.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement CI/CD processes for rapid deployment of software.
  • Work with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to manage infrastructure.
  • Automate deployment tasks using scripting languages and configuration management tools.
  • Collaborate with software developers to enhance deployment workflows.
  • Monitor applications and infrastructure for performance and reliability issues.
  • Contribute to improving system architecture for scalability and fault tolerance.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields
