Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will develop sustainable solutions to address environmental challenges and contribute to various projects aimed at improving environmental performance.

Responsibilities

  • Review and improve existing environmental practices.
  • Conduct site assessments for compliance and risk evaluation.
  • Develop and implement climate change adaptation strategies.
  • Coordinate with researchers to integrate new technology into projects.
  • Prepare grant applications for environmental projects.
  • Advise on biodiversity conservation efforts.
  • Engage with community stakeholders on environmental issues.
  • Facilitate workshops on sustainable practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus
Experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in the environmental sector
