Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Shoe Machine Operator and Tender to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating machines used in shoe production, ensuring high-quality output and maintaining machinery according to standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all machines are set up and operational before production starts.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Inspect finished products for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and safety.
• Report any mechanical failures or production defects to supervision.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Manufacturing Technology or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in shoe manufacturing or a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Sewing Machine Operation
• Maintenance Skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Ability to work shifts: Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
