Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

As a Mechanical Engineer based in Johannesburg, you will contribute to critical engineering projects by applying your expertise in mechanical system design. This role requires innovative thinking to enhance product performance while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct mechanical analysis and simulations to validate designs.
• Work closely with project management to ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Review and approve engineering drawings and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with engineering and safety standards.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns within the mechanical team.
• Participate in design reviews and recommend improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant engineering experience
