We are seeking an experienced Oil and Gas Operations Manager to lead our operations in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance and optimizing production efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of the oil and gas sector.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of oil and gas operations.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with engineering teams on operational projects.
• Monitor and report on key performance indicators.
• Facilitate training programs for operational staff.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Manage supply chain processes to optimize resource allocation.
• Engage with external stakeholders for operational support.
• Analyze operational data to identify improvement areas.
• Support the development of operational policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field
• MBA or similar is beneficial

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in operations within the oil and gas sector
