Job Description

We are on the lookout for a compassionate and skilled General Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Pretoria. As a vital part of our medical staff, you will provide comprehensive patient care, diagnose illnesses, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Experience in various medical fields is preferable as you will handle a range of health issues and provide preventive care.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ health by reviewing their history and conducting physical exams.
• Create and manage treatment plans while monitoring patient progress.
• Provide referrals to specialists when required for advanced care.
• Keep up-to-date with medical advancements and best practices in primary care.
• Conduct routine health screenings and immunizations for preventive care.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Relevant postgraduate qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in general practice

Technical Skills

• Emergency Care
• Chronic Disease Management

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Geriatric Medicine Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic

• Experience in telemedicine practices: Familiarity with remote healthcare solutions and virtual consultations.
