Job Description

As a Family Physician, you will be pivotal in delivering integrated care to patients of all ages in Cape Town. The role requires a focus on preventative health strategies and chronic disease management, ensuring each patient receives personalized care based on their individual needs and health goals.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage urgent and routine care for patients.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals for comprehensive care.
• Implement effective patient management strategies.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Foster strong patient relationships to enhance care experiences.
• Assist in the training and mentorship of junior medical staff.

Requirements

Education

• MBChB or equivalent medical degree
• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in family medicine
