Job Description

As a General Practitioner at our Pretoria location, you will work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team to provide exceptional medical services. Your role will involve assessing patient conditions, managing chronic diseases, and encouraging preventive health measures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive physical examinations and interpret diagnostic tests.
  • Manage patient files and ensure confidentiality and data protection.
  • Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies.
  • Assist in developing and implementing clinical protocols.
  • Engage in community health initiatives and outreach programs.
  • Remain up-to-date with the latest medical advancements and best practices.
  • Attend medical conferences and participate in peer review activities.
  • Address any concerns or complaints from patients effectively.
  • Foster a welcoming and caring environment for patients.
  • Encourage and support colleagues in a collaborative work atmosphere.

Requirements

Education
  • MBChB or equivalent medical qualification
  • Diploma in Occupational Health is a plus
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role
