We are on the lookout for an ambitious Environmental Engineer in Port Elizabeth to join our innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing strategies to mitigate environmental impacts while ensuring compliance with legislation. You will work on various projects that aim to enhance sustainability and promote eco-friendly practices.

Responsibilities

• Assess potential environmental impacts of proposed projects.
• Formulate strategies for environmental remediation and restoration.
• Conduct public consultations and stakeholder engagement workshops.
• Review and provide feedback on environmental plans and proposals.
• Utilize software tools for environmental modelling and analysis.
• Assist in the training and development of junior engineers within the team.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering or related discipline
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years working in environmental consultancy or engineering roles
