Warehouse Supervisor

Job Description

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will take charge of our warehouse operations in Johannesburg. You will be tasked with ensuring efficient workflows, managing the team, and maintaining high standards of safety and organization within the warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse activities and delegate tasks to staff.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through regular audits.
• Implement safety training and uphold compliance standards.
• Assist in the dispatch and receipt of warehouse shipments.
• Track and report on operational KPIs and efficiencies.
• Lead team meetings to discuss performance and objectives.
• Support the development of warehouse policies and procedures.
• Assist in logistical planning and shipping schedules.
• Monitor equipment functionality and coordinate repairs.
• Promote a culture of teamwork and accountability within the warehouse.

Requirements

Education

• Matric or equivalent qualification
• Relevant certifications in logistics or warehouse management are a plus

Experience

• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in warehousing
