We are seeking an Environmental Engineer to join our team in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and engineering, focusing on developing sustainable practices. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, managing projects, and contributing to policy formulation aimed at environmental protection.

Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental assessments and prepare reports.
• Design, develop, and implement sustainability programs.
• Collaborate with clients to define project requirements.
• Perform risk assessments and propose mitigation measures.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
• Engage with stakeholders and local communities on environmental issues.
• Monitor and analyze environmental data to guide decision-making.
• Coordinate project activities and manage timelines effectively.
• Develop policy recommendations for sustainable practices.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions on environmental awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in environmental engineering or consultancy
