We are seeking a talented Chemical Engineer to join our team in Bloemfontein. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing chemical processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate existing chemical engineering processes and identify areas for improvement.
• Experiment with different chemical formulations to achieve desired outcomes.
• Work with project managers to schedule and allocate resources effectively.
• Use software tools to model chemical processes and predict outcomes.
• Train staff on safe use and handling of chemicals.
• Develop sustainability initiatives to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
• Prepare budgets and forecasts for project costs.
• Conduct training sessions on new technologies and methodologies.
• Ensure that all engineering practices comply with company standards and regulations.
• Compile and analyze data to support process development decisions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in a relevant discipline preferred

Experience

• 5+ years in the chemical or related industry
