We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will support the daily operations of our pharmacy, manage prescriptions, and ensure the highest level of customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the accurate filling of prescriptions and medication orders.
• Collaborate with pharmacists to provide patient education.
• Assist in daily pharmacy operations and customer service.
• Maintain pharmacy equipment and ensure cleanliness.
• Monitor and manage pharmacy stock levels.
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals concerning medication therapies.
• Support with insurance verification and billing processes.

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Electronic Pharmacy Systems: Experience with pharmacy management software and electronic health records.
• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate with a diverse range of patients.
