Responsibilities

  • Assess and diagnose injuries and diseases in animals of various species.
  • Perform surgeries, including spaying and neutering, and handle medical emergencies.
  • Guide pet owners on post-treatment care and lifestyle adjustments for their animals.
  • Contribute to a positive work environment through collaboration with staff.
  • Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and standards.
  • Participate in community education regarding animal health.
  • Oversee the work of veterinary technicians and support staff.
  • Engage in research and clinical trials as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of veterinary medicine trends and techniques.
  • Advise on animal welfare issues within the community.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Medicine
  • Specialization in Surgery is advantageous

  • 5+ years in veterinary clinical practice
