Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our Johannesburg team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating our financial operations and ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards. You'll be responsible for performing audits, identifying risks, and providing recommendations to improve processes and controls.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement audit programs tailored to individual departmental needs.
• Assess financial records for accuracy and compliance.
• Provide consulting and advisory services to improve system processes.
• Assist in the development of policies and procedures to enhance operational control.
• Monitor and report on corrective actions taken in response to identified audit issues.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Audit
• Master's degree is an added advantage

Experience

• 3-7 years of relevant auditing experience

Technical Skills

• Tax Regulations Knowledge
• Excel Proficiency
• Auditing Software Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Organizational Skills
• Problem-solving

Certifications

• Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)

Languages

• English: Fluent
