• Evaluate and validate information within articles for accuracy.

• Participate in brainstorming sessions to enhance fact-checking methods.
• Create fact-checking reports and summaries for publication.
• Engage with the editorial team to discuss verification findings.
• Track and report errors or misleading information.
• Maintain a well-organized digital library of references.
• Support the training of new fact-checkers on procedures and tools.
• Foster a culture of accuracy and ethical reporting across the newsroom.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant postgraduate degree is an advantage.

Experience

• Experience in a fast-paced newsroom environment is advantageous.
