Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations and implement nursing interventions.
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, nurses, and other specialists.
• Manage prioritization of patient treatment to ensure optimal delivery.
• Document patient progress and treatment plans thoroughly.
• Engage in professional development and stay updated with healthcare trends.
• Advise patients on health maintenance and wellness strategies.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Nursing
• Experience in ICU or Emergency Care preferred

Experience

• 1+ years of nursing practice in emergency or critical care

Technical Skills

• Critical Thinking
• Clinical Procedure Proficiency

Soft Skills

• Adaptability

Certifications

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• isiXhosa: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with Electronic Health Records: Proficient in using EHR systems to manage patient information.
• Fluent in Afrikaans or isiXhosa: Ability to communicate effectively in both languages is a plus.
