Job Description

As a Pharmacy Technician at Health Solutions Pharmacy, you will play a pivotal role in the healthcare team. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring compliance with pharmacy regulations. Your expertise will contribute to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall pharmacy experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the distribution of medical supplies to patients.
• Participate in community outreach programs to promote health.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medications and pharmacy products.
• Assist in conducting pharmacy health screenings and immunizations.

Requirements

Education

• Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification
• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred.

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Bilingual in English and Afrikaans: Ability to communicate in both English and Afrikaans for patient interactions.
