Responsibilities

• Perform client intake assessments and develop strategic case plans.
• Offer therapeutic support and counseling services tailored to client needs.

• Advocate for social change by educating communities on relevant issues.
• Monitor and evaluate client progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
• Facilitate workshops and training for clients to enhance life skills.
• Document all interactions and maintain confidentiality in line with professional standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or Psychology
• Master's degree in Social Work highly regarded

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in social services or mental health

Technical Skills

• Crisis Counseling
• Therapeutic Techniques

Soft Skills

• Cultural Sensitivity

Certifications

• Certified Clinical Social Worker (CCSW)
• Trauma-Informed Care training

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Conversational
