Job Description

We are looking for a passionate Social Worker in Pretoria to join our team. This role involves providing support and assistance to individuals and families in need, addressing various social issues, and implementing effective interventions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients’ situations to determine appropriate interventions.
• Develop and implement effective treatment strategies.
• Support clients in navigating social welfare systems.
• Organize and lead community support programs.
• Develop relationships with clients based on trust and respect.
• Assist clients in accessing government and community resources.
• Conduct workshops on life skills and personal development.
• Participate in case conferences and team meetings.
• Document all interactions and maintain client confidentiality.
• Act as a liaison between clients and government agencies.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Social Work is preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in social work, especially in community settings
