Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated pharmacist to join our team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of pharmacy practice and a passion for patient care. You will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing medication-related information, and contributing to patient health outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct health screenings and patient assessments as needed.
  • Implement and monitor patient medication therapy management plans.
  • Engage with patients to assess their medication adherence and outcomes.
  • Document patient interactions and medication therapy results.
  • Help manage pharmacy operations and inventory levels.
  • Foster relationships with patients to enhance community health.
  • Participate in pharmacy quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in administrative duties as required by the pharmacy.

Requirements

Education
  • Master of Pharmacy (MPharm) is preferred
  • Registration with South African Pharmacy Council
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in retail pharmacy
