Helpers - Production Workers

Job Description

As a Helper in our production team, you will assist the Head Chef in preparing and serving meals while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment. If you are eager to learn and work in a fast-paced environment, this position is perfect for you.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients by washing, chopping, and measuring according to the Head Chef's specifications.
• Assist with cleaning and sanitizing kitchen surfaces and equipment.
• Help in managing food inventory and stock rotation.
• Follow safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Work with team members to ensure timely meal service.
• Participate in training sessions to improve culinary skills.
• Assist in packaging food for takeout and deliveries.
• Provide support in any other kitchen-related tasks as required.

Requirements

Education

• Grade 10 or higher
• Food safety certification

Experience

• No prior experience required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic

Advantageous

• Prior restaurant experience: Experience working in a busy restaurant environment is a plus.
